Poshmark Finds #2

@chellirose is such a wonderful seller! She's the best I've purchased from as she'd gone above and beyond expectations. I liked many of her listings previously when I was broke and I let her know my interest. So, she was understanding and also kept me updated on her sales.

Still diggin' the nautical stripes look of summer. Love, all year 'round.

I also got some blouses for dressier or business attire. I loved the floral one, but it was just too big, but I happily found someone who it fit wonderfully, right away!

These last two tops (the peach w/ flower detail and black dolhman) ended up being too large. I haven't quite decided what to do with them yet. I may resell on Poshmark, but I'll give first dibs to you all here reading my blog. Let me know if you'd like to purchase either of these two tops, just name your price :]

She was such a wonderful seller and actually gave me 3 additional tops and these 2 pairs of earrings. She said it was an apology for missplacing her iron and having to send me wrinkled clothes. Well, apology definitely accepted! She's so nice and wonderful to work with! I highly recommend purchasing from her! If you're wondering about Poshmark, you can read my post about it: HERE

Poshmark Finds #1

So, if you saw my Poshmark post, you may have noticed how Poshmark obsessed I am right now. They recently had a Posh Love Days special where the app users got $3 off shipping for two days and I went shopping and got some great deals!

Here's a preview from the app, so you can peak at what else I'll be posting:

And now here are my finds: the shoe edition! First off what I purchased from @nrd_hrd.

Yes, I got a jellie bundle. I've actually never tried jellies out before this, so I'm excited to try. I have been wanting a ton of different colored flats, so I thought this bundle would be a great way to get that look.

She even included this 7th pair from Old Navy. It's actually my favorite and most comfortable pair, so I'm so glad she did! I actually misread some of her listings as I rushed the purchase because I only had an hour left of $3 off shipping and 3 of the shoes ended up being size 5 and that's just too small for me.

Now for my purchase from @styledbykblake. This is actually a September purchase aside from the $3 off shipping, so I paid full for this. If you remember my post about my picks from Vivi magazine, you may recall my search for platform wedges with straps.

Now, I've actually been searching for black ones, but I couldn't find ones in my size and price point. I think this blush color may actually be better though. I can always buy dye to color it black if I want in the future.

I do recommend these two sellers if you shop Poshmark. With the @nrd_hrd bundle though, she deleted her original postings of the jellies individually once she created the bundle, which made it difficult for me to make sure what I was ordering. I would just recommend asking her not to delete the listings until after you purchase or after delivery. I don't think it's too much to ask of a seller. I didn't mind too much though. I'd still recommend :)

If you shop Poshmark, what have your favorite buys been?

August Birchbox

Here's my August Birchbox and here's the list of contents:

I love the packaging on that shampoo, I'm pretty excited to try it. I usually brush my hair before showering to prevent having to deal with a ton of tangles. Sometimes, I'm in a rush and don't pre-brush, so I plan to try this detangling shampoo on one of those days. Moisturizer is always great, so I'm excited for that. I've never thought that I'd need fresh feet wipes, I think I'll just bring this along next time I go camping or to the beach. I've never received make-up before, so that was interesting. I did put in the beginning questionnaire that I'd prefer skincare products over makeup. I'm not a big eye shadow wear-er so I may give this to a friend. I'm so glad I got this lipstick because I've been wanting a new one!

Then, it came with this double sided fold out. It has plenty of ideas and also a coupon for Ann Taylor.

This is my last box of my 3-month subscription and I don't feel the need to purchase another one. It was a lovely gift from my boyfriend and I was always excited to see something come in the mail. I may purchase another subscription service in the future if I have more disposable income, but until then goodbye Birchbox.

August Fashion Buys

Sorry for the Unexpected Hiatus in the middle of August! Good news, I just got a job! Anyhoo, this is a fashion buys post!

I was actually planning to do a post on everything I purchased this August, but I'm also thinking that the post will be too long once my Poshmark purchases arrive.

Before you assume I'm a shop-a-holic or have tons of shopping money, I just want to say that I typically only buy one or two items every 2 months or so. I just got over excited at having a job and now owe too much money (don't follow my example of spending money you don't have) and I felt like my wardrobe really needed an update as I was squeezing myself into small clothes and wearing clothes that just didn't suit my current style.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this clothing haul type post, but I've been thinking that it'd be a great way to keep track of what I'm purchasing every month and to be able to look back at how old my clothes are!

So, these are my new clothes that I bought new! My next August buys (cont.) will actually all be second hand clothes purchased through Poshmark.

There's definitely a trend in the types of tops I'm attracted to huh? My favorite is the knot design! Next, I should probably get tops with sleeves!
The skirts are actually REVERSABLE! It's so awesome! I defintely plan on wearing my new blouses with my skirts, I think they totally match!

I have been loving flats once again. I had been avoiding swede/swede-like shoes for a while because of the necessary upkeep, but I just love the texture that I couldn't stay away! The brown ones are actually supposed to be taupe, but it only looks taupe in natural, bright lighting.

I totally just got into the bracelet stacking trend. I used to hate wearing bracelets, but I just loved the look so much that I got used to wearing them! I've been making more myself as well. Possible DIY posts to come, so let me know if you'd like to see some!

What was your favorite purchase this summer?
