Poshmark

I recently made a Poshmark account and wanted to invite you all to view my closet!

If you don't know what Poshmark is, it is a phone app that allows users to buy and sell women's fashion goods. It is set up so that sellers post up their items and it's shown on their page as their closet. You can buy straight from the site, no Paypal needed.

As a seller, Poshmark will take 20% of whatever price point your item sells at. The buyer pays for shipping as long as it is under 2 lbs. Poshmark will email you a shipping label which you stick on the box and send. Shipping is $4.99 for items over $25 and all others are $6.99. If the package is over 2 lbs. The seller pays the difference.

As a buyer, you just view other peoples closets and choose whatever you want. You can negotiate with most sellers too and discuss creating bundles to improve your savings. To protect you from scammers, the seller won't receive money until you receive your item. Each item is tracked and Poshmark will know when you have received your item. You must get to your item and contact Poshmark within 3 days if there is a problem or else you may lose your money. If you go over 3 days without contacting Poshmark, they will assume that you received it without issue. Otherwise, you can click a button to let them know your package is received and well in order for the seller to receive payment right away.

It's a great place to find used women fashion pieces and even some new. There's quite a bit of big brand name items too! There are also parties where you can find items under a certain theme such as by type, brand, or style. The whole thing is kind of like a consignment shop. So far, I really like it and if I had a ton of spending money, I probably would have spent $400 in a few hours already! If you'd like to make an account, use the invite code HWQMG to get $5 for you to spend in your account. I'll get $5 for it too, totally win win! That amount can pay for shipping!

Do you shop used clothing? Do you have a Poshmark account? Let's follow each other's closets!

July Birchbox

Now here's my July Birchbox! Even though now it's August. It didn't have a pink sleeve with an exclamation point this time, I suppose it's for first box subscriptions. Anyways, here's the list of contents:

This set was pretty exciting as I love most of it! I've been wanting to try out a new highlighter other than my E.L.F one. I don't imagine me using the bobby pins though as I don't really have much green in my closet, but they're such a pretty design! I've never tried a leave-in conditioner before, so this seems like a great way to try it out. I'm not sure how I'll like it though as I actually have oily hair, so more conditioner doesn't sound great. I like the sound UV protection though! The body cream is really the only thing I'm pretty sure won't get used. I'm pretty happy with my Aveeno, but these sound good for days when I run out. Face Cream was very much needed for me as well.

This month contained Suits picks which were the bobby pins and the Face cream. It also included a scratch card for a free deluxe mini with any full size product purchase or $25 plus purchase.
Next month will be my last box as I don't plan to buy another subscription anytime soon, I think I will try another provider if I do.
Please let me know if you're interested in reviews :)
